The Wrap Dress
In the early 1970's, Diane von Furstenberg invented the first ever wrap dress. The wrap dress has now been recreated for over 40 years by countless designers in a plethora of fabrics, prints, lengths, and necklines making it one of the most popular styles of dress ever.
The fabulous easy fitting style uses two long fabric ties connected to each side of the dress, to wrap through a hole under the arm and around the back, creating a beautiful feminine silhouette that ties at the front, side, or back. This stunning style suits almost every body shape making it a perfect dress option for the plus size woman. With their generous fit and flattering shape, wrap dresses are perfect for day wear, work wear, and are also suitable as special occasion dresses matched with your favourite heels and accessories.
The gorgeous plus size wrap dress is a must have style for the curvy woman's wardrobe. With so many different styles to choose from, you're sure to want a few!
What's the difference between a wrap dress and a faux wrap dress?
A faux wrap dress is designed to look like a wrap dress and often has a fabric tie or fabric that wraps over itself. It doesn't open out like a true wrap dress but does generally take on the shape of a true wrap dress.
